Our top tips for making the most of Q4

It’s incredible to believe that we are approaching the end of 2023. Q4 is nearly upon us and if you’re asking, “Where on earth has the time gone?”, well so are we!

Don’t panic though! With some strategic planning there’s plenty of time to reach your audiences and impress your key stakeholders.

For every business, each three-month period of the year brings the setting of specific goals and Q4 can involve a big push to meet end-of year targets.

For marketing, the quarter system also lends a helpful structure and if you’re under pressure to produce quick results, here are our top tips.

They’ll also stand you in good stead for the long term, so this is about a strategic approach.

 

1. Christmas (already!) and audience trust

With Christmas approaching, Q4 is traditionally associated with an increase in consumer spending. Therefore, this is a key moment for businesses to engage with their audiences and build an authentic relationship. By doing so, you can win the focus of your audience, promote your company and boost sales.

2.What to do with that leftover budget

The last quarter offers the perfect opportunity to use all that unspent budget from Q1, Q2 and Q3. Here are some ideas as to where you could spend it:

  • Give your website that long overdue MOT – has your website been long neglected and in need of a bit of TLC? Now is the time to pinpoint the quick updates and the areas that will need a bit more attention.
  • Plan some paid social ads – this is a busy time of year for all business, so you’ll need to find every opportunity to cut through the noise.
  • Propose a short-form video to boost your business – consider harnessing the power of video format to showcase your story and break through into the hectic lives of your clients.

3. Plan for the year ahead

By finding some quieter moments in between the hustle and bustle of Q4, why not get ahead of the game and plan for the year ahead? Get your team together for a big brainstorm, and make sure everyone is involved! Now is the time to start creating the campaigns, content, and other assets that you’ll need to execute your 2024 strategy.
