The Client

This recent example among award-winning websites was a very successful collaboration with the marketing department of our clients Waterlogic, a world-leading water cooler company based in Basingstoke, Hampshire, and their New York design agency.

The problem

Waterlogic had plenty of copy on their old website, but it was dry and technical, unfocused and lacked punch. The brief from their brand specialists was to give the whole website a much more human, approachable tone.

The answer

Lesley Hussell from Editing Edge transformed the feel of the website with a fresh conversational copywriting style that immediately engages the reader. It’s the kind of tone that co-workers might use around the water cooler – so very appropriate to this project!

The result

Waterlogic’s marketing department were delighted with how smooth the copywriting process was during the six-month project, as well as with the end-result. Being one of the Web Marketing Association’s award-winning websites has raised their profile and is converting new customers.

How are award-winning websites chosen?

The Web Marketing Association awards are the equivalent of the ‘Golden Globes’ for websites and previous prestigious winners of the top award have included Disney, Harry Potter and British Airways.

The award is judged by industry experts who assess the website for criteria such as content, copywriting, innovation and interactivity.

Award-winning websites have something in common: a strong, clear message that hits just the right tone to pull in customers, with bright and lively copywriting infused with enthusiasm for the product or service.

Editing Edge can write show-stopping website content for you too.
